Symbol Mapping connects broker-specific symbol names.
Different brokers can use different symbol names for the same market. Symbol Mapping tells the copier which slave symbol should match a master symbol.
Why mapping is needed
A master account might use EURUSD while a slave broker uses EURUSD.r, EURUSDm, or another suffix. Without a mapping, the copier may not know which slave symbol to trade.
How to map symbols
- Open Copier Settings.
- Select the copier link for the master and slave account.
- Open Symbol Mapping.
- Enter the master symbol and the matching slave symbol.
- Save the copier link and verify the next copied trade uses the mapped symbol.
Best practice
Map only symbols that need translation. Keep symbol names exact, including broker suffixes, prefixes, capitalization, and special characters.
